Papa Johns has launched a redesigned Pan Pizza, featuring edge-to-edge toppings, a blend of six cheeses, and a crispy garlic parmesan crust. The new version, available starting Thursday, January 29, aims to enhance the traditional pan pizza experience with a focus on texture and flavor.
The updated Pan Pizza combines a fluffy, thick crust with an airy interior, parmesan cheese and special garlic sauce baked into the bottom for a golden, caramelized finish, and a six-cheese blend including mozzarella, provolone, fontina, asiago, parmesan, and romano. It is designed to support up to seven toppings and is finished with a dusting of Italian seasoning. The recipe contains no artificial colors or flavors.
Jenna Bromberg, Chief Marketing Officer at Papa Johns, noted that the company took a consumer-driven approach to develop the recipe, aiming to meet higher expectations for flavor and value in a competitive pan pizza market. Shivram Vaideeswaran, Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing, emphasized that the product was rebuilt to set a new standard rather than simply re-enter the category.
The Pan Pizza will be available nationwide at participating Papa Johns locations starting at $11.99 for a medium one-topping pizza. Customers can order through the Papa Johns website or mobile app.
Papa Johns International, Inc., founded in 1984, focuses on using high-quality ingredients, including fresh dough made from six ingredients, real mozzarella cheese, vine-ripened tomato sauce, and meat without fillers.
