The winners of the Product of the Year 2026 awards were announced at a ceremony held at Quaglino’s in London, hosted by broadcaster and writer Claudia Winkleman. This award, voted on by 8,000 consumers, is the UK’s largest consumer-voted recognition for product innovation in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
The 2026 winners span a wide range of categories including food and drink, home, personal care, health, and lifestyle products. The selections reflect current consumer trends such as convenience, performance, wellbeing, indulgence, and smarter living.
In the sleep category, Simba Sleep Hybrid Pro Mattress won for mattresses, while Emma Original Hybrid Pillow secured the pillow category, offering personalized support through a combination of foam and microfibre. Verisure’s New Alarm System with LockGuard was recognized for its advanced electronic front-door locking technology, integrating alarm protection with intelligent access control for enhanced home security.
Air Wick’s Advanced Electrical Plug-In was awarded for its consistent, long-lasting fragrance and improved scent control. Food innovation was highlighted by several winners: Cheez-It Snap’d, a thin and crispy baked snack with bold cheesy flavor; Goodfella’s New York Style Pizza, noted for its authentic pizzeria-style base and toppings; Birds Eye Captain’s Discoveries and Lamb Weston Fries Range, both offering new takes on traditional fish and chips.
Kellogg’s Bluey Breakfast Cereal and Onken KiddOs Range were recognized in the children’s food category, with the latter using natural ingredients and added Vitamin D. Daawat Extra Long Basmati Rice from LT Foods won in the rice category. International flavors were represented by Al’Fez Squeezy Sauces, Nando’s Churrasco Perinaise, and Patak’s Seasoning Mix Range. Farmfoods Takeaway Crispy Chicken Gyoza and Nutty Kitchen Supermince Range, a plant-based mince alternative, also received awards.
In beverages, Arla achieved five wins including the Protein Milkshake Range, noted for high protein content and taste. Highland Spring Apple & Blackcurrant Flavoured Water won in the drinks category. L’OR BARISTA Absolu was recognized for its versatility in coffee preparation. Inch’s Cloudy Apple Cider and Bacardí & Coca-Cola were awarded for their cider and ready-to-drink premixed spirit offerings, respectively.
Petcare winners included Nestlé Purina Petcare’s GOURMET™ REVELATIONS™ Fine Cuts in Gelée for cats and Wagg Chews for dogs. In personal care, Wisdom’s Intense White Professional LED Teeth Whitening Kit was acknowledged for at-home whitening results, while Clairol Colour Strong Hair Colour Range and Honeybalm Lip Care Try-Out Box were recognized for hair and lip care. Wilkinson Sword Complete Mini Travel Razor won in the women’s grooming category.
Essity UK Ltd received multiple awards for intimate and incontinence care products, including TENA Pants Protect+ Night Plus, TENA Discreet Ultra Mini & Ultra Normal, and Bodyform Ultimate. Kimberly-Clark’s Huggies Extra Care Sensitive Plastic Free Baby Wipes were noted for combining gentleness and sustainability. Broncho 5 in 1 Cough Syrup was recognized as an adult cough syrup addressing five types of coughs. ANDYSMANCLUB XL ‘Man-Sized’ Facial Tissues were awarded for their collaboration with a men’s suicide prevention charity.
All winners are authorized to display the Product of the Year red logo on packaging and marketing materials, a mark trusted by consumers to signify outstanding innovation.
